3 layers of thermoformable foam surround the ankle, heel, meta, tongue and sole, shaping itself to the contours of the foot to offer increased responsiveness while still offering cushioning. 2 rivets fix the upper cuff to the lower shell, keeping the boot rigid and allowing improved energy transfer. The upper cuff can be adjusted inward for a more snug fit.
