The Idol 9 CS comes with advanced shell technology, which makes for a low-profile ski boot that offers up a custom fit and performance. The Idol 9 CS also comes with double canting adjustment; the canting allows cuff alignment to the skiers lower leg shape by moving the cuff laterally towards the interior or exterior. This boot also comes with the My Custom Fit Performance liner, which is 2 layers of thermoformable foam on the ankles, heel, metatarsals, sole, and tongue for a more comfortable wearing experience.
This boot is related to the Salomon Idol 8 CS, which offers a lot of the same features, but differs in that it comes with the My Custom Fit Sport liner and offers only a single canting adjustment.
