Twin shaping supports both forward and backward motion enabling riders to land maneuvers in either regular or switch positions, with "Bad Ass" core construction aiming to provide optimal durability without adding large amounts of weight. "Bad Ass Glass" laminate enables full street-style boarding with a 20-percent improvement from the previous Rat model, providing superior board strength while maintaining flex and weight levels. The "FreeBase" base unit promotes simple waxing for top speed levels, keeping the Rat's graphics intact and protecting the core of unit for longevity. In addition, this model features beveled edges that prevent catching or hooking on rail or lip edges, with added "Bad Ass" materials that include crack-proof glass composite, thick edges and solid wood construction.
