Burton Social (2011)

The Burton Social (2011) is a mid-cost women's snowboard. This snowboard has a V-Rocker profile, a combination of arch and angle that gives you a catch-free, floating feel. The Frostbite edges of the Social (2011) (edges that extend slightly out from beneath your bindings) enhance power and grip, particularly in icy conditions.

This snowboard has a Fly core, which means that it is wood from tail to tip, a design that strengthens the board. The Social (2011) is an improvement on previous models in that it has a softer flex, and the Jumper Cables feature (which are ultra light carbon stringers that transfer energy from your feet to the tip and tail of your board, thereby improving your air).
