The Pro-Tip feature of the Lux (2011), a tapered tip and tail thickness, reduces swing weight (and thus makes mobility easier). The negative core profile of this board (thinner sections of core between the bindings) makes the flex soft and allows for more foot control. The Lux (2011) is an improvement on previous models in that it has a softer feel, 0.5" setback stance, and the directional flex feature (which consists of a more resiliant nose and increased pop in the tail, for a more controlled ride). This snowboard differs from the identically priced Lux V-Rocker (2011) in that it has a camber design instead of the V-Rocker design (which makes the V-Rocker's feel more loose and forgiving than the Lux's). There are size options available for the Lux (2011) women's snowboard.
